Website Policies
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective August 1, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by Mapout Creative, including website design, web development, software development, hosting, maintenance, and subscription services.
1. Project Deposits
All project deposits are non-refundable. Deposits reserve project scheduling, planning, and discovery. Work begins only after the required initial payment is received.
2. One-Time Projects
Payments are non-refundable once work has started. If the client cancels before work begins, a refund may be issued less administrative or payment processing fees. If work has begun, the client is responsible for payment for all completed work up to the cancellation date.
3. Subscription Services
Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable after the billing date. Clients may cancel anytime to stop future renewals. Cancellation does not refund the current billing period.
4. Client Delays
Projects inactive due to the client for more than 30 days may be placed on hold. Projects inactive for over 90 days may require a restart fee or rescheduling.
5. Revision Policy
Revisions are provided according to the selected service package. Additional revisions outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.
6. Refund Exceptions
Refunds may be considered only for duplicate payments, billing errors, services not yet started, or where required by law.
7. Non-Refundable Items
Domain registrations, hosting fees, premium plugins, third-party licenses, API usage, stock assets, and completed custom development are non-refundable.
8. Termination
Mapout Creative may terminate services for abusive conduct, illegal requests, repeated non-payment, or breach of agreement. Completed work remains billable.
